Opening Statements

Well here we go. So what am I going to be blogging about:



Politics and where Wishful Thinking and Reality Collide

Animals - mostly horses.

Entertainment Industry

California vs Germany

and other such nonsense.



so let me begin:



Politics:

I believe that government is fantastic for one thing: screwing stuff up --- that's why they are terrific at the military. I don't want that sort of entity to tell me that they know whats best. Somehow, however, we have moved from letting individuals think and take care of themselves and their neighbors to just letting the government do it for us instead. The Federal Government is worst why dear god why are they in the business of directing local policies. Protect me from foreign threats that's your job, then Print Money (but they should really stop for now), Issues regarding Interstate affairs fall under their jurisdiction as well. Out side of that STOP. Let the states and the individual cities and neighborhoods decide what works. American Government is by the people and for the people and this means that the power rests with them - the bottom- the non-government - so why do the politicians think that they get to give us anything.

Horses:
Vaulting, Dressage, Hunting, Horse Training - and when I've seen it go wrong , and generally why I want a large facility.
Vaulting:
every little girl who wanted a pony and to do gymnastics ... parents I submit for your consideration : VAULTING gymnastics on horseback (I'll add videos at some point.)

Dressage:
OK so I'm 5'10" and far to short for my little 14.3 mare. But we try.

Facility:
I want a 3 - day facility in SFV/LA - why do we need to go to moorpark?



on to other things/random bitching:

I can see traffic out of my office and boy can people not drive!
almost makes me loose faith that humans are smart

went by my old high school the other day. wow these are the 'smart' people I am supposed to be trusting my kids to? heaven save us all. I worry when the people running the place can't put a complete English thought together correctly.
